Best Time to Visit

Karatu is pleasant year-round thanks to its highland altitude. The dry season from June to October offers the best game viewing in nearby Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The green season from November to May brings lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower rates — ideal for budget travellers.
